CSR020: Is▲Real - Strength EP

Last on our backlog is the long awaited EP of Is▲Real, and boy this does not disappoint.

After a bit of waiting, this drop would get you stoked on what Is▲Real could do with a full length album. K-hole inducing music that would suck you in deep and won't let you go, just for starters. These 6 songs are gonna be stuck on your ipod, not by choice, but by demand. You won't have the strength (pun intended) to climb out that hole and change the music, so just push repeat. You're welcome.

Ever his own worst critic, Is▲Real pushes himself into being ten times better after each song, and at the rate he is going, next release would be nothing short of stellar. But for now, go download Strength and blow your mind - snort a line of the finest horse powder and trip out.

CSR019: CR1M3LY - witch love: 1 EP x CSRMixtape003: G3T NUD3 F0R TH3 CULT

Dark, drag genius. That's what this is.

CR1M3LY drops her 2 track EP perfect for your next seance or virgin sacrifice. Pretty and sparse and dragged out, witch love: 1 is the future sound of the underground.

The only problem here is its only 2 songs. You are left wanting more of these songs, bordering into clawing your eardrums out. But don't. Not just yet. Because if this is what CR1M3LY has in-store for us all, we're seeing big things.

Let the darkness in.

BONUS SHIT!!!!

We asked the homegirl to make us a mix for the blog's mixtape series, and what she gave us is 20 minutes of some straight fucked up Project X soundtrack on better drugs. This is what's gonna be playing on your next Hangover screening after party, trust us. Springbreakers has nothing on this drop, we're telling yous.

Now go download that and fucking throw a party and trash your neighbour's house! DO IT!

CSR018: NULLSE† - SPELLBOUND

Oh real life, why do you suck out our time?

Anyway, enough excuses about late releases, lets just get down with the tunes and blow the spot. 1st out of our backlog is our homie nullse† with his 7th album to date.

Last time with left him, we were saying that dude can't be stopped. There's nothing but truth in that statement. Pairing fast paced hi hats to his dark, witchy trap this time around, nullse† gets in and demolishes each track, knocking it outta the park with a huge swing.

Download that bad boy for a dollar on nullse†'s Bandcamp. We've given you tons of free shit, a dollar out of your parent's pocket won't hurt. Besides, it goes directly to the artist, and artists need to eat too y'know. Now get to it! Consider that kool-aid money for The Cult.

And everyone knows we love our kool-aid around these parts.

CSR017: CR1M3LY - ŞAHESER

And lastly for our backlog roundup, there's CR1M3LY. Formerly known as Saat Bahar, she picks up where her last moniker left off and steps her game up into dizzying levels.

Its slowed down, drugged out, evil, ethereal beats oozing out of the digital manifolds of the internet - communing with the dead and speaking in tongues. This is analog machinery and digital VST seance, packaged in mp3s. Get your demons ready, they're all coming out after listening to this.

This wraps up our backlog. There are tons coming up in the coming months, so best check back like you always do. We heard CR1M3LY is making a mix? Aren't you not stoked yet?!

Shouts out to CR1M3LY's girl Julia who made the sick cover art! Check out her Tumblr.

CSR016: NULLSE† - Fear & Wonder x Leftoverz II

Up second is nullse†'s new album Fear & Wonder.

At the rate he is going, dude would be releasing an album's worth of gems every month. Which is what he is actually doing! There is just no stopping this guy in dropping cold, witchy trap tunes - not even if hell freezes over.

Fear & Wonder expands nullse†'s onslaught forward and is poised to bring him into the consciousness of all the internet obsessed kids around the world. His tunes are what hypeblogs should be raving about, and sooner or later he will usurp the throne as the next big thing. But for now, just be glad he's asking for only a dollar for his albums. Its worth more than that, trust us.

BONUS!!

4 track, pay what you want, bonus EP! Leftoverz II! Remember the last one? If so, then you should be stoked for this!

CSR015: Mushroom, the Truth - Odds & Ends

Real life caught up with me so the releases are late to be, um, released. It would be awesome if running this label was my actual day job, but its not and I need to eat. Maybe one day, but not today. Sorry dudes.

BUT! In interest in making it up to you people who follow the cult, we're releasing our backlog all in one swoop! So I dunno, get stoked or some shit.

(Btw, we're now in Bandcamp! Why'd you look at that huh? The brightness of stepping into the future is blinding! Remember kids: cultshitmediablackout.bandcamp.com - BOOKMARK THAT SHIT)

First off we have Mushroom, the Truth with something old-new. Odds & Ends may be a gathering of his past songs from different points of his music making career, but its remarkably consistent and flows together nicely like it was actually made to be an album.

It covers all the bases. There's drone-y jamz that hark to the good old days of a superb Not Not Fun release (think Pocahaunted), weirdo freak folk layers, found sound collages, all dripping with psychedelia that you won't hear from any of the releases out today, especially locally.

CSR014: K▼L▲M†††B▲R▲NG - The Last ▲

Surprise, surprise lovers!

Its almost a year since we saw a proper album release from K▼L▲M†††B▲R▲NG. That split with happyboy whet our appetites and the 2 mixes made us dance, no matter how slow, but then - BAM! Out of nowhere, The Last ▲ sneaks its way in to your Valentines day like an unwanted pregnancy most of the people on Earth would have to face 9 months from now. Baby making music delivered right to your computer via your favorite cult record label!

We left KB last time with the chop and screw, crazy noise-crypt hop darkness, ushering evil around these parts. This time around though, we have a more focused affair of post-internet warblings, warping pop music into its grittier, somewhat more malevolent form. Oh but hey, its still Evil with a capital E, only its more mellowed out. More unexpected and ambient - like an attacker lurking in the shadows ready to gut you when you're not looking.

Here's your soundtrack for the love making you'll be doing tonight with your partner, partners or by yourself. Whichever you prefer it to be, we don't judge here in the cult. Go download that now!!
